Tiny Town Children's Center is located in the village of Manomet, in Plymouth, MA. Since 1985 we have been filling our walls with laughter, toys, crafts, and books for children all over town and even the world! Tiny Town is a family business previously owned and Directed by the late, beloved and, extraordinary,  Mrs. Toni Powers. It is now owned and Directed since 2018 by her grand daughter Mrs. Stacia Buckmann. Stacia is of course Tiny Town alumni, worked at Tiny Town since she was a teenager, went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from University of Massachusetts Boston for early childhood education in 2016, taking on the leadership role as Director. Miss Stacia has kept up the many traditions and values of Tiny Town while also implementing new traditions, updating policies, adopting and adapting to new practices, and assuring a child centered environment that is flexible for all diverse learners. Stacia is married and is a first time mother. She believes that family is the most important thing to help a child become a confident lifelong learner.  

At Tiny Town Children's Center Inc. there is a legacy of offering a relaxed and casual setting to meet the needs and interests of children and their families. We would like to be an extension of your home and family as your child learns and grows. While at school, children are provided with activities that are matched to their developmental needs with opportunities to experience success. We offer a theme based curriculum that is hands on, fun, and has guidance from the Massachusetts Early Education Guidelines and Learning Standards, and the CDC milestones. We are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care to provide  early childhood education and child care for children ages 8 weeks through 8 years old (infant through school age) with a capacity of up to 39 children per day. Tiny Town welcomes in all its programs families of all faiths, creeds, and ethnic origins- families of all shapes, sizes, parenting styles, and any which way your family blends. We begin by accepting each child as a person of worth and value, and then we meet them where they are at developmentally, physically, and emotionally. We provide environments, equipment and materials geared to what we know and can learn about their ages and stages of development for those particular children. Tiny Town teachers are highly skilled care takers and educators. We affirm the teacher as the most influential component in the classroom and encourage them to be in a continual peripheral process of learning and growth for themselves. As the parent, you are the child's first teacher, and we as early childhood educators would like to be apart your teaching journey by offering expert advice, making referrals, and giving support.  

Our Mission is to recognize the need for seeing each child as a total person and provide for their  physical, mental, and emotional learning and growth. Our goal is to create a nurturing, clean & safe, happy environment which promotes the child's natural curiosity and desire to learn!
